Devin Townsend released a new album last month under the Devin Townsend Project banner. This new album, called Addicted, marks the second album this year from DTP. It is a bet heavier than Ki, but it is still pure Devin Townsend genius. The video for the song "Bend It Like Bender" is below as well as the Amazon MP3 widget to download the album.

I'm not sure how I let anything from Devin Townsend fly under my radar, but I did. He released Ki a little over a month ago. While he is one of the greatest minds in heavy metal, I love it when he goes off and does some more mellow stuff. It really shows off his great range. This may not appeal to every fan of Strapping Young Lad, but for the hardcore Devin Townsend fans, it is great stuff from a great mind.
